Awiagina Chair

In Native American culture, certain animals – including deer – were totem animals; they symbolic, and hold helpful spiritual energy, and even lessons, with which people can connect, and with which they can be attuned. Native beliefs explain that a totem animal is one that is with you for life, both in the physical and spiritual world.  Though people may identify with different animal guides throughout their lifetimes, it is the totem animal that acts as the main guide spirit.

With this one animal a connection is shared, either through interest in the animal, characteristics, dreams, or other interaction. The Awiagina “Fawn” chair takes its cues from the fawn, with the grace and soft curvature that is evident in its form and beauty.
